Information we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject, and message. When you submit a book proposal, we also collect your institutional affiliation, proposed book information, comments, and the proposal file you upload.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to enquiries, evaluate book proposals, communicate with prospective authors and editors, and administer the Progress in Computational Intelligence and Intelligent Technologies book series.
Who may receive it
Submissions may be shared with the series editors, relevant reviewers, and the publisher when reasonably necessary to assess or progress an enquiry or proposal. We do not sell information submitted through these forms.
Retention and security
Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond, evaluate the submission, maintain appropriate publishing records, or meet applicable obligations. Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask about information you submitted, request a correction, or request deletion where applicable by emailing pciit.series@gmail.com. Withdrawing a proposal does not necessarily require deletion of records that must be retained for legitimate administrative or legal purposes.
